Exciting News from Sentinel2Height – Mid-Term Milestone Reached! 🚀

The Sentinel2Height project has successfully reached its mid-term milestone with great momentum. We’ve developed an automated pipeline that integrates Sentinel-1 single-baseline InSAR with spaceborne LiDAR data (GEDI and ICESat-2) to support large-scale forest height mapping. Data collection is now complete for Europe and Africa, with expansion ongoing in South America and Asia.  We're actively working on extending coverage, incorporating shorter temporal baselines, and finalizing the first public dataset release—coming this September 2025.
